“The menstrual woman is cyclic, but she is expected to be constant and linear; she feels a part of the world around her but is told she is separate; her eroticism feels creative and spiritual but she is told that it is pornography or evil; she feels the cycling of life, but is told there is no cycle. It is little surprise that women have problems with modern society and are looking to redefine their roles within it and their expectations of it.”
